S. K. Bandyopadhyay, born 1953 is a Pure Science Graduate, Diploma Mechanical Engineer & Post Graduate Diploma (IR/HR) from Calcutta University (IISWBM) and trained at IIMs, XLRI & ASCI in different training programs.
Started career in 1976 – Guest Keen Williams Ltd., MNC and worked for 6 years as Engineer and 6 years as Industrial Relation Officer. Joined Philips India, MNC as Personnel Manager and worked for about 6 years both in Consumer Electronics and Lighting Division. Joined Voltas Ltd as Regional Personnel Manager (Eastern Region) and worked for few months. Joined Vesuvius India Ltd., MNC as HR-Manager and retired as Executive Director –HR and worked for about 16 years. Now he is managing his own Organisation USD HR Solutions – HR service providing Co. since 2010 as CEO.
He was Member of HR & IR Sub Committee both in BCCI and CII Eastern Region for quite some times.
He is a Life member of NIPM.
Visited as faculty in different MDP at XLRI, Calcutta University, BCCI & CII and other Management and Engineering Institutes
Had experience to work with European community especially in Salary & Wage management in connection with Watson Wyatt –Organisation of International repute.
